ABSim is the result of my realization that pitchers need a better way to simulate innings and experiment with pitch sequencing. There is very little ability to simulate live at-bats at lower intent in a bullpen setting. This program allows pitchers to tackle that. Using Baseball Savant Swing Rates, Foul Rate, Whiff Rate, and Batting Averages, by pitch type, on each location, and Randomizing Results to simulate a game setting. You can easily simulate at-bats against an AI batter. I programmed the batter to simulate MLB average tendencies across counts(rarely swings 3-0, Gets defensive around the zone in 3-2... ECT). The batter can also pick up on repeated pitch offerings and become wary of the pitchers tendencies, for example, consecutive breaking balls will allow the AI batter to cover breaking balls to the zone and become sensitive to them out of the zone, prompting the cue "The Batter Hung in on the Offspeed".  Enjoy the game and strike the AI out!
